Children are one of our primary ministries focus. We believe that one of our three major purposes is to be a loving and nurturing spiritual community for children of Niagara Falls.
Sunday Worship
Since September, 2009, new worship service have replaced our traditional Sunday School with 9:00 am worship service. It is an all inclusive and participatory worship where children and adults alike share in leading worship experiences. At the moment each child volunteers to lead a worship item. Children are writing prayers that would be used for the next week's worship service. 9:00 am service is known as "intergenerational service" meaning that people of all ages are involved in innovative ways to worship.
The purpose is to help everyone, especially children and youth, worship by being active contributors learning together to form a Christian community.
We continue with our 10:30 am service where children attend the early part of worship and depart after "Learning Together" to have fun.
Other Programs
Through out the year, there are many programs for children at Drummond Hill. We had wonderful fun in our "Baking and Cooking" program and special parties.
Music and Fun
On Saturdays afternoons between 1:00 and 3:00, children come together to learn songs, guitar and do different kinds of games and activities. It is open to children of any age. We are hoping that by learning to sing, play, work and make things together children will learn to grow spiritually and physically.
All of our programs are open to every child who wants to come and enjoy.
