The Bible Book Club: We are very excited to offer a Bible reading program which will help us to read the entire bible in 3 years. We invite you to join us to read together every Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. in the church parlour. You may also choose to read at home. We will provide the list of passages we will read ahead of time. We are hoping that reading the Bible together will encourage all of us to read it from cover to cover.
Readings for Wednesday, May 18th - Leviticus 5:1-9; Readings for Friday, May 20th - Leviticus 5:10-13
Lectionary Bible Study: Every Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Stamford Estates
The Lectionary Bible Study is for Christians who feel mature with their faith. A Lectionary is a group of bible readings which change weekly. Each group usually comprises two Old Testament and two New Testament readings with an underlying thread linking them together. The Lectionary Bible Study group convenes every Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Stamford Estates. We are always learning from one another, while enjoying the fellowship of gathering and studying together in His name. More people are always welcome!
Men's Coffee: Men's Coffee Hour is a time of fellowship for men every Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m to 11:15 a.m.. The coffee hour includes a reading of a verse or two of scripture and a devotional on the same subject, followed by a brief prayer, then lots of fellowship, where good conversation on a wide range of topics is enjoyed.
Choir Practice: Every Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
We hold choir practice every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Drummond Hill has a "joyful" and "active" choir, under the leadership of our Minister of Music, Judy Sibley.
Food Collection: Food is now collected through The Salvation Army
We encourage you to be generous in food donations through our Salvation Army barrel located at the entrance to the church hall.
Banner Project Committee: We are looking for volunteers to design a banner for our 210th anniversary in 2012. Our anniversary celebration will be combined with the War of 1812 anniversary celebration.
